Tech Support Girl

This blog was created because i needed a space to vent the reactions provoked by my job - technical support of certain software by e-mail. Sometimes people ask such questions that I really would like to say a couple of “very warm” words but I can’t! Yet it’s very difficult to keep it to myself.

Many of those things I also believe will be funny for technically literate people.

And I intend to include with the “sincere” reply the one that was actually sent. So perhaps this blog can also serve as a learning tool for myself and perhaps for someone else with the same problems! =))

Give me immediately

For some reason, lately, the number of “happy idiots” increased significantly. I refer to people who demand the registration code to our software without purchasing it. Yes, they actually DEMAND it! At this we’re lucky if they name the software at all, and even if they do, it’s mostly incorrect & very approximate. Because they all come somewhere from Middle East, Central Africa or India. That’s what happens when you let uncivilized folks out in the Internet. Equality of human beings, my ass!

CUSTOMER:

Please give me code for [distorted software name] imedetly please

ME:

What about sugar-coated piece of shit on a silver plate?

[standard reply:] Did you buy? If not, you can do so here [link]

This reply has been existing for long but honestly with 5 persons per day they start annoying the shit out of me.
